"What is Communion?" is a children's book which includes a simple explanation of "The Lord's Supper" with an Evangelical Protestant view. It also explains who Jesus is, why He came to earth, why He sacrificed Himself for our sins, and has simple steps for trusting in Jesus as Savior.
My husband, David, was the Copy Editor. This book was especially written for our children, ages 6 & 10 at the time of publishing. Our daughter was diagnosed with autism at an early age; so, with that in mind, we wanted this to be a book that could benefit children of various ages, as well as those with special learning needs.
My father, Dr. James L. McIntosh, drew most of the illustrations for the book, and a Pastor/Author friend of ours, Rev. Gary E. Gilley, wrote the Foreword.
